Delirium: A poetry and art showcase (by our youth program)

The Laurenhill IMPACT girls club presents:

DELIRIUM: an afternoon of poetry and art! Join us at Insiders Anticafe at 4 PM on May 21st for a poetry showcase, open mic, and art by the students of the IMPACT girls programs.

Sign-up for the open mic starts at 4 PM sharp (limited spots, first come first serve)!

Poetry: Original spoken word performances by high school girls across Montreal.

Open Mic: This portion of the afternoon gives people the chance to share their art (not limited to poetry), experiment with performing, or perform a piece by an artist they admire. Performers have 7 minutes and can perform spoken word, music, singing, showcase their art, or anything else they please!

Art: Art pieces will be showcased around the event space, ranging from photography to paintings using inspiration from the prompt “Delirium”.

Zine: Copies of the zine, [Delirium], created over the course of this past year, will be available for sale (PWYC). It will include many of the pieces performed and showcased at the event. All funds go directly to the young artists who contributed to the zine.

Entry cost: $7.50, and will cover the cost of beverages (coffee, tea, juice, etc.), and vegan and non-vegan snacks (muffins, cakes, cookies, chips).
