There will be short breaks between the screening of each film of the trilogy for conversation and refreshments and a discussion with the filmmaker at the end.

★ 12:30pm – Kitte Mil Ve Mahi (Where the Twain Shall Meet)

A film which explores the bond between Dalits and Sufism, which is both healing and emancipatory.
★ 2pm – Rabba Hun Kee Kariye (Thus Departed Our Neighbours)

The film engages for the first time with feelings of guilt and remorse about the genocidal violence in Punjab’s countryside.
★ 3:30pm – Milange Babey Ratan De Mele Te (Let’s Meet at Baba Ratan’s Fair)
95’/2012
A film excavating local cultural continuities and a most imaginative transgression of religious identities in post-partition Punjab.
